Looks like a crime scene! Totally awesome!
Congratulations! Nice size albies you got into.
Where were you picking them up? What was the water temp?
More details, please!
I went out to the 43 and Butterfly a couple of weeks but the fish got lockjaw while I was there. The only bright spot of my trip was a 30lb YT I got on 12# mono.
I'm heading out next week again for albies...hope I have as much luck as you did.
Cheers,
Ali

Hey Ali - We got them a mile or so north of the 390. The "fleet" also did well a few miles south. We found the fish on the temp break at 63.9 degrees. We also did well the week before at the 1010 trench. Same water temp. Ive seen reports from yesterday that had the water as warm as 67. Too warm! I may try out by the 60 mile bank later this week. SST has been useless due to overcast so I will be following a hunch, Bluefin :D If I were you I would start at the butterfly at o dark 30 and work your way out towards 60 mile bank.

Ali, here are some numbers you might want to try as a starting point. John, on Whippet Good, posted these yesterday:
31 56 x 117 45 and
31 45 x 117 45
Looks like the 390 area is starting to pick up again.

:D Sat 7/10 60 mile bank
Left fri night at 11:00 with friends John & Jim to put jim on his first albie. I was headed for the airplane bank to some numbers from the day before, Got to numbers at grey light, no life at all I heard of a couple radio fish at the 60 mile bank so I heade up there. Got about a mile from the south east end of the bank and the meter lights up put the jigs in and single knock down, then double then a quad. Boxed 1/2 mile area limits for 3 by 10am. Water was 65.3 and buuumpy
hot jigs B&P cedar, and a faggy looking little green tuna clown. 1 bait fish farmed 1 baitfish. Fish were mixed 12 -30lbs Called in Heather lynn11 I dont know if they made it up there or not. when we left it looked and felt like it was gonna go wfo any minute. If I were going tomorrow I'd start at the 60
