I haven't caught any recently, but some people are catching some big sharks.... check out this 600 lb mako that was recently caught....

one of our local fishermen who "Specializes" in sharks caught "the big one" offshore Fernandina (just north of Jacksonville). Plenty of them here right now, some BIG ones, too....

Talk about a rough bunch. If it was me I think I would of wet myself when i saw that shark was more than half as big as my 20' w/a. I like shark meat but I don't like the idea of becoming "shark meat".
