does anybody know where to find the cupholders for my '99 246 Walkaround? It's a plastic deal with a nipple at the bottom for drain tube. They drop into holes in the engine cover.
Anyone?

I had the same problem on my 1999 260 Open. I never did find cup holders of the same size. However, West Marine stocks some that are just a little bigger. I made the holes larger with a rotary file and the holders work just fine.

I've got a '98 246 and not only are the cupholders shot (I bought the larger cupholders from WestMarine though I dread the thought of filing larger holes) but the rod holder inserts in the gunnels are shot. Anyone know of where I can find something similar?

Rockhopper-

Are your rodholder's Lee rod holder's? If so you can get the vinyl replacements from Lee's Tackle in Miami.

You can also try Perko and Taco as well. They supply a good number of boat companies rod holders and might have a vinyl insert you can slide into the rod holders.

Not sure if they are all interchangable. I believe there are some very minor circumference issues with each brand.

They are Lee rod holders, and thanks for the reply. While we're on that subject, it seems that most of the plastic and/or rubber parts on the exterior are disintegrating.

Another item is the recessed rod holders / storage areas located under the gunnels; these are part of what seems to be a large fiberglass tackle storage unit that is screwed into the sides. The rubber / plastic inserts that you put your rods through in order to stow them are literally crumbling. WestMarine doesn't have replacement parts. Any ideas / thoughts?

Thanks!
