These are the ones I know of,
3 in the Greensboro area- two 20'ers one 17'er
2 in the Raliegh/ Durham area- one 20'er and Gavin
1 in Charlotte
1 in Jacksonville- easytime?
2 at Atlantic Beach- John Paite's 20 and a 22 open.
Any others I missed?
Ya'll want to get together at like Jordan Lake or somewhere central?
October is nice on Belew's Lake north of G-boro. One big nice ramp and two places to eat.

How's about if we meet at my lake house up on Lake Gaston? I'm hip to having everyone up there. I just had 19 people stay with us this past weekend. Sleeping space was kinda tight, but everyone had fun, and it really wasn't all that bad. I have a double-wide with 3 bdrms & 2 baths. My dock is a single slip, but I have space for at least 2, and possibly three extra boats beside Theresa Lynn in her slip. I am right off the main lake, and the launch ramp is within walking distance of the house, and I have my own key to get into the common area 24 x 7. It's almost an acre of property, with plenty of room to park your truck & trailers. If we get more boats, there are tie cables & buoys in the water @ the ramp, so we could tie up more boats with no problem. My dock is in a nice cove off of Pretty Creek, so anyone with 2 anchors could easily be near "the fleet". I'd say I have room for at least 8 boats EASILY in my cove, plus the 3 tied up to the dock. I have a 32' x 11' deck above the slip, so that's where we could pop the Corona's & relax, and a 14 x 16 deck on the water. Let's do it. I am 20 minutes from I95 @ Roanoke Rapids, and 35 minutes from I85 where it meets NC Rt 158. Let's pick a football wknd in the fall so we will have some form of entertainment if the wxr isn't cooperating. I also have an open fire pit, so smokin' & jokin' & talkin Shamrock sheet would be great around a fire. Striper bite shoould be on soon. I will check with the local Striper club Cap'n as he's my neighbor.
Who's coming, and what wknd plz? Be happy to have you guys up. Just drop some $ in the tip jar to help pay for the city H2O & electric, and momma is happy. I can't feed everybody, but I will bring what I can. ALL the comforts of home, and good company to boot. A Shamrock get together sounds great. Lot's of pics to take & post! Lez doit! :D

Hmmm a shammy weekend with at the admins lake compound?
I like it! How about Sept 18 weekend? NFL week 2, warm enough to still get IN the lake and we should be able to find some stripers to boot.
I can bring my 220 WA, beer, hot dogs, beer, burgers, beer, fish , beer, striper tackle, beer and anything else needed.

Sounds good to me! I would bring my 17 footer and whatever food might be needed. I have several propane cookers and large pots to cook in so could help cook for a good sized crowd. I am not a bad cook, even if I do say so myself. I have several things going on this fall but maybe it won't fall then. Let's calendar it before the calendar fills up.

Hows about the weekend after. The 25th. That is the next open weekend that has not been filled. The other 20' Shammie guy in Gboro (Sassy Ann) is working in Ohio and we need togive him a little more time to plan.
Can we change it?

I'm flexible on the date. I may have to leave to go work for a few hours as my part time job should be up & going by then, but the point is we will all have FUN! :D I have room for a camper, but I don't have an electric plug in. Most of the landscaping around the house is sloped towards the lake, but I have one nice level spot I think will work...as long as you don't mind listening to the bullfrogs. They can get pretty loud.
There is a campground with all the facilities within 5 miles of the house, and 8 minutes by boat if you would prefer to stay there. It's located on the next creek to the W of our creek, Pretty Creek. I belive they have a web page. Hollar if ya need it. Suggestions for a date? Let me know. I look fwd to taking some pics, and yes Rick, you can bring your non-shammy! Gavin

I can cook and drink beer. My friends typically invite me to parties and then whisper "no fool, no fun!". Well, at least I get invited!
You folks plan the date and post some directions and I'll drop in.

It looks like it is set.
I think we should cruise the lake with Gavin as a guide and at some point have the wives(?) on land with the digital cameras to caprute the procession on film. I am going to try to get my wife to run the video camera as we do this. Also this gives us a chance to ride and drive different models of Shammies. I would say lets race, but well , they are Shamrocks. Then we could raft up or tie up at Gavins and eat. There are my ideas, anyone else?
Mr. Palmer are you coming? Gavin or I may be able to get you at the airport in Raliegh.

Gavin/CC,
Not sure what the boat/head count is up to now but the wife and I would love to join in. We'd be bringing a 20'er (if space still permits), plenty of beer, some grilling food, the digital cameras for all those great pics, and whatever else ya need. Sleeping on the boat is just fine with us.
Coming from Richmond...so I would guess 2 hours to your place?

I still have a carb to adjust, so I will be busy friday, but I will have the ol cell phone on. Can't wait til' you guys get there. Should be a small but fun crowd. Looking fwd to sharing a few laughs. Just bring what you want to eat & drink. I have plenty of coolers @ the house, so bring your beer. I think the only thing we might need is ice. I have a huge "hole" of deep water right off the mouth of Pretty creek. The main lake is only about 3/4 mile from the dock. Let's do a BBQ on the grill Saturday night, and hang out under the stars. Almost a full moon this wknd, so it will definately be quiet & quite enjoyable.

Sounds awesome GD. Glad to hear someone is bringing a dawg. He/she is welcome to come into the house. We have three ourselves. What's his/her name? I'll keep mine at home, you bring the of-fish-ial mascot dawg.
The ramp is a simple walk from the house. About 120 yards. Dock is right down our own private path. Sorry, no electric or lift at the dock this year. Next years project! The main lake is about 3/4 mile from my dock with some deep holes that keep the stripers. Bring your downriggers if ya have 'em. Almost a full moon, so we can troll late night if ya want. Not sure on the Fish & Wildlife peeps. They have a habit of sitting up in a cove right outside the mouth of my creek on the W side with their nav lights off. Next thing ya know the ol blue lights are on ya. I'm not sure on their appearances after Labor day. they tend to eat doughnuts more frequently then! We'll have a good time I can assure you of that. Looking fwd to seeing ya. A lil poker game maybe? If momma doesn't want to get out on the water, there is a Super Wally World in Roanoke Rapids that's open 24 hours and only 18 minutes away. If ya need something hollar. Sea ya! Gavin
