My father and I are going in together on a new and slightly larger boat so we have to sell both our boats. I will list mine in another post.

His is a 1988 31 GS with twin 6bta 250 cummins diesels with just under 2000 hrs. A lot of work was done in the last 2 yrs. Re aligned the shafts, new dripless boxes, checked the tank and epoxied the outside(was in good cond. because these are not foamed in). New fuel hoses.

The boat is ready to fish.
Switlick 6 man liferaft
Epirb
5kw generator (diesel)
AC and Heat
northstar 800x loran upper and lower
Raytheon radar 32 mi not sure on the model
Raytheon fishfinder
SEA 156 vhf with 16' shakespear antenna

He is asking 78900$

Here is 1 picture that I have. I am going to the boat this weekend and I will take some more. If anyone wants them, just pm me with your email and I will send them to you.

I will be in the water till end of october.

The boat is located in Seaside Park N.J.

I need to find it a good home. The new one is due to arive in March/April.

I have always loved that boat! If I didn't already have a 270 MAC, I would be jumping on this one. There are not many of them in the resale market.

Hi Pete

I wanted a larger boat and it madeno sense for both of us to have one so I talked him into a 32 Carolina Classic which is a new model they just came out with. I saw one at the AC boat show and fell in love with it. I sent the deposit in last week for delivery in april.

It's going to be a loooooong hard winter that's for sure. Here is a picture I took at the show.

Tom,

You'll love the Carolina. After owning a 26' preditor for 10 years, I sold it this year and bought a 98 28' Carolina with a pair of diesels and generator. Their support is unbelievable - call their factory and speak to Mac - he'll tell you anything you want to know about it. Kind of strange after having no one to speak to on the old Shamrock's and being able to speak to the owner about anything. Seems as though the new owner of Shamrock is going to be that hands on. The Carolina has a totally different ride than the Shamrock and is soooo much heavier. You might consider listing your 31' GS on the Bass Barn site, there is quite a bit of activity there and it is all South NJ based. Good luck - I'm located in Wall Township and keep the boat in Manasquan - so if you ever one to go through one thoroghly, let me know.

Brian
