Have you any pictures? Sounds interesting. Was there any fiberglas modification when the 351 was installed? How many hours?
Thanks, Mike

Hi, Jack.
Still interested in your boat, if you haven't sold it yet.I'll need some pics. If you can't post them, let me know, and I'll give you my email address. Maybe you can tell me everything right and wrong about this boat. Also, what kind of trailer/yr is it? I'll be in Fl. in early Dec. so maybe this can be worked out. Also, what kind of fuel tanks? Let me know. Thanks, Mike

That looks like a walk thru from the picture. Nice looking boat. I have the same year. 1979, walk-thru, refirbushed in 2000. Looking for a buyer as well. Not to hijack this thread. I will post up the details after this one is sold.

Hi jack (sorry)
I haven't seen or heard from anyone on this board even after an invitation to look at my Shammy, guess you are in the same boat.

Sorry, but I have been trying to talk my brother-in-law into driving down and taking a look. But he says that it is too far from J'ville plus I fear that he may backslide and buy another sailboat. I told him it looks like a good deal and I have vouched for the hull design. So I tried to sell your boat and save my brother-in-law from another boat that can't go anywhere, but no luck so far. I will see him live and in person this weekend in SC and will try some more convincing

I don't get it. Judging by the picture of Jacks 20ft W/T, it should be selling for more than twice the asking price. What am I missing here? If my boatshed was empty, I'd be pointing Betsy south for a long haul. Why are these boats never around when I need them? I bet the hurricane Charley 20ft cuddy goes for close to Jacks asking, and that thing IS a wreck.

I've got one, but mines a '77.
My neighbour may be interested.

Finally got mine fixed up to where I wanted it to be and gave it to a boat lot just before going on vacation. Two days later they got a deposit and now waiting for a sea trial to finalize the deal  . They are still getting many calls of interest. I am surprised it generated so many calls and sold so quick. 1979 20' Walk thru, redone in 1999, $8,000.00 with trailer. I took the "Kingfisher" out one more time on Saturday. I will miss that boat :? , there is no better fishing platform for near/off shore, in that size range, IMHO. Now what to save up for next???

Thanks for everyone's help and advice and I'll be checking in every now and again to see if I can pass along any useful information that I learned through visiting the site and my own trial and error.
