Len,

Congratulations on the sale of "I Fish" one. Especially for getting the original sales price!!

Who bought your boat? Was it somebody from this forum or did the broker find the buyer for you. Just curious........

I think I can speak for everyone when I say, we're happy to see you sold your boat, if that's, in fact, what you're saying.

I can also add... we are a somewhat irreverent group, at times. But if you read all comments and take them for how they are intended, they were given as much to be good advice as anything else.

Sometimes, reading of written words isn't exactly the same in the comprehension as it was intended on the composition end. We know what has worked here before, and that's what we usually advise, for most non-members who come here to use the forum, before learning our unwritten conventions. That dynamic can happen on both ends of the conversation as this whole thing has demonstrated.

Now that you have a new boat, don't be a stranger.

Boat sold to someone just an hour away. Je saw ad I ran in Fl Mariner. It's a rag that is free at marinas, yards, boat equip stores.

Charles, you are a great writer. Were you a journalist? Or, are?

Will get new boat on Monday. Will go south on ICW, from Venice to Placida. About an hour ride.

Again, thanks to all.

I'm sure Sir Charles will be called upon again. Wherever there is strife he will be there. Wherever a woman is in need he will deliver. Dancing is only a tool to woo and Chaaaarm them with his ways. Diplomat, maybe. Healer yes, Word master..................

Holy cow guys,
I leave town for two days and look what y'all do.

We're gonna have to straighten this bunch up a little. You haven't had any water time and it shows.

Len... nope... my writing experience comes from specifying jobs to civil service journeyman workers what kind of job I wanted done, as requested by the various Marine generals and command elements. That changed to private contractors, during the last five years of my working days.

My mom and dad did crossword puzzles, which is where I believe my vocal vocabulary emanated. But, I dropped out of college after three years to make enough money to feed my excesses... and later a family.

I'm one of those weirdos who can usually catch on to things easily enough to do them, but not devote enough to them to become a master at them. I did master the sheetmetal trade, to a reasonable degree, but I hardly touch the stuff, anymore. The rest of what I do falls into the "jack of all... master of none" area. But I am never bored.

The rest of you... straighten up, will ya?
Charles

We were willing to pull out all the stops to get a rise out of you. Don't leave again or it might get ugly! Creative writng around here is our forte'. Fiction or fact makes little difference to us.
Holty ,break out the popcorn, Someone is bound to need something of Sir Charles. It is just a matter of time. :D

Jim,
It's obvious you don't care how perverted this thing becomes. Cool that popcorn... I'm choosing to triangulate this situation.
Shame on you!

Victoria needs to work on that head of yours. Too much sanding will fill it with sawdust, you know. Wear that respirator and ear plugs.
Best,
