Transom Seat

Nice to see Shamrock at the NJ Boat Show today. My wife saw the 24-6 with removable transom seat. Does anyone have one to sell? It looks like the type of thing you buy use once and leave in the garage.

Hey Rick,

You're right on about the transom seat - I bought one with my boat and used it exactly twice...it's not a very comfy seat from what I was told. HOWEVER, it turned into a great dive tank holder as I had a welder pull the seat off and weld two panels onto the frame with holes for the tanks. Those tanks don't move at all, and I can throw the whole thing, tanks and all, into my truck when I'm done...a friend of mine thinks I should fashion a panel to make a removable bait table to attach to the top panel for fishing only trips, and weld some rod holders to the side of the frame for additional rod storage, which I think I'll try...anyway, turned out to be a good buy for me.
