What is the yanmar engine to replace the 302?
Any one have a idea of what the cost is to change the engine out to diesel"

I have a 1984 20 cc and it had a 351 and the previous owner changed it to a Yanmar 100hp. Model 4JH2-UTE(B) WITH A km4A transmission, the ratio of the transmission is 1.47:1. My cruising speed is at 3200 20 knots and WOT is at 3650 23 knots. My prop is a 14 x 14 with a light cup.
The engine price is $14,000.

It's well worth the work. Yesterday I went 60 miles & used 17 gallons of diesel.

Do you have the 26? Do you have the Yanmar 170 or 240? What are the performance specs on your boat.
