What's up with posts being missing/removed?

Perhaps you didn't understand when I told you the first time why your posts have been deleted.

We do not allow direct solicitaion of our membership on this board, just as we do not accept advertising dollars.

If a fellow member recommends that you be contacted as a vendor of a specific part, that's acceptable. But to repeatedly come on here hawking your wares is unacceptable and the offending posts will be deleted.

We have recently had an individual come to this board and ask permission to advertise a few heavily discounted odds and ends he had in his shop. Because he was gracious enough TO ASK FIRST, permission was granted and he has been most discrete in his postings. He did not ASSUME that he could do whatever he pleased here. I do hope you see the difference between his actions and yours.

I also hope you now understand site policy on this subject and choose to abide by it.

I posted items for sale that I own personally, hence the phrase "Call my cell #".

So it's O.K. for everybody else to post something for sale that they own, but since I'm the bad guy around here it's no go for me.
