A friend sent this Yanmar Service Bulletin to me. It seem they have know about this issue for some time. Check the date! My engine has been updated with the new seal. 130 hours this season and no problems.

I bet yanmar has had it with that problem toyota engine , but this new BWM car block could be even weaker , or maybe it's the end of the old school diesels.
