May 13-14 in Cambridge, MD, Sponsored by the Richardson Maritime Museum.
Dorchester County Heritage Day, and the Groove City Jazz & Blues Festival will be going on during the same weekend.
This should be a pretty cool weekend. The show is intended to be focused on local Custom Boatbuilders, but there will be a number of production boats there as well. Lots of vendors hocking their wares.
Mr. Jim Richardson was a very accomplished local Shipwright, responsible for many of our beautiful Bay Boats as well as the replica of the Dove. My old man built w/ him, and I remember being a little dirty runt running across the Doves bare ribs. Our history w/ the Richardson family has alot to do w/ our involvement in the show. We want to see the Richardson Maritime museum succeed.
Anyhoo, there's the Hyatt nearby, as well as B&B's, and transient slips for those that are so inclined. We'd love to see you.
