Now that they are putting it in gas, will they be putting it in diesel?

I doubt it...too different.

FWIW...they've put ethanol in gasoline for many years.They don't have to tell you unless it goes over 10%. I've read of at least as many problems with MTBE...especially on injected motors.

Other than improving filration, I don't think I'd get too excited unless I started having issues.

I think they make more profit by adding it, as the government subsidizes it.

Actually, I don't think Diesel needs to be oxygenated or have its Cetane rating raised and Ethanol might even be counter-productive or even grossly damaging to the engine.
