How about a Shamrock get together on the East coast. Maybe around the time and place of Cyachts show, since that seems to be centrally located. Don't know about accomadations or slip availability but it's a starting point.

I'd like to do the same. Prefer a good boat ramp to launch from. The ones I have found in NC haven't been all that great (especially Oregon Inlet, man do they need to work that one over). I think it would be a great time to meet the fellows of FTC.

I think there are enough of us who would come to make it worthwile. I don't know much about setting up an event but I know someone who does. I'll start checking into things and post as I get the info. You Va. and N.C. Shamrockers should check out the Military Appreciation Day event. Morehead City has good hotels and the ramp at the C.G. station is the best you will find anywhere. It is for a good cause and alot of fun. Maybe we could make that a Shamrock weekend?
