How about a weekend fishing tournament for "bragging rights"?
Only "rules" are:
1)must fish off a Shamrock
2)must "register" (ie confirm that you are competeing)
3)must fish the same day (or weekend) as everyone else
4)some type of confirmation on size/weight of catch?
5)maybe limit the catch to the 4 largest fish- no sharks, no billfish, no tarpon- must be table fare fish-dolphin,tuna, kings, snapper, grouper etc etc.
To make thinks "fair", one person would be the judge. You would call your catch in then e-mail the judge your info on your catch, along with the confirmation- heck a simple photo, and weight would be fine-this is on the honor system. After all data is submitted, the judge will tell us who won?
Participants could call the judge to see what's going on, so they can then see about chaning how they fish.

How about the weekend of July 19-20. Saturday the 19th? Gives some time to get things organized a bit. I'll be happpy to be the judge- but I'm also fishing... Can you trust me????
