HAY LEP, YOU MENTIONED PAINTING THE PROP AND SHAFT. SHOULD I USE THE SAME BOTTOM PAINT, OR IS THERE A CERTIAN KIND?

I just slop on the Bottomkote ACP. The "Correct" method would be to apply zinc chromate primer first, then Bottom paint. I've never bothered and have never had a problem. The alledged issue is that the copper in the bottom paint would adversely affect the Stainless Steel of the propshaft. After many years of doing it the "Lazy" way, I see no degradation of my shaft. The rudder and prop are bronze, an alloy containing high amounts of copper, thus no problem there. I think the zinc collar I put on the shaft every Spring may actually be helping me out here.
