I have a 1999 260 open.
Does this boat have the GALVANIZED STEEL Exhaust Pipes?
Also I am a plumbing contractor, copper tube for plumbing comes in 4 grades. The grade is a representation of WALL THICKNESS.
Type "DWV" has the thinnest walls and is rated for gravity drain piping only.
Type "M" that was suggested on the site is the thinest grade allowed for water distribution under pressure.
Type "L" is thicker than "M"
Type "K" is the thickest and would be the BEST CHOICE
The standard length is 20'
and I guess the Home Depot junk must be some sort of copper gutter downspout tube that is not used in plumbing.

Thanks Malonso!!! - Next time I do this job its type "K". The type "M" appears to stand the test of time in this application though. But thicker is better, no doubt about it. Rgds, Leprechuan
