Hi to everyone, I am finally in the shamrock family. I recently purchased a 1995 20' walk around with a 351/250 hp indmar. I was having problems with the speed and RPM and came to find out that the secondary on the carb. were not opening. I had it fixed and would like to gather some info. from other owners. My boat came with a 13x13 prop which was recondition to a 13x11 with a cup. At a recent boat show I was told this boat should have a 14x11 and no cup, which I have changed to. If anyone has a shammi like mine, please tell me what is your cruising speed and RPM's and your WOT speed with RPM's so I may compare it to my boat. Thank you in advance for your help.

Dear Chick,
I can't help you with your boat specks, however a great company is the Michigan Wheel Corp. They are on the web. Others were talking about it on another post. I think it was under "speed..."? Good luck.

I took the carb off and drop it off at a carb shop. It was not worth while try to do it myself to save +- 150.00. Picked it up from the shop and reinstalled it, what a difference. Good luck on your carb.

I have a 20 foot cuddy. I just changed from a 13x12 flat to a 13x13 cupped. I am taking it out this weekend to test. My cuddy wont fit a 14inch prop without hitting the lower skeg.
