I have a 26 Mackinaw with a 350. Fully loaded I runout 17 knots at 3000 and get about 2 miles per gal. Full rpm is around 3800. I have on a 16LH17 prop. Does that sound right?

Bernie,
I think you got a little too much prop. WOT should be in the mid-4,000 rpm range in my limited technical opinion . My 246 WAC swings a 16x16 prop that I am considering tweaking up to 16x17.
