Well it looks like our striper season is as good as over, I went out last weekend and had a pretty unimpressive day with only one fish in the mid 30"s. I read the posts on TIDAL FISH today and it looks like they have moved pretty far south so it is time for me to try to learn how to fish for TOG/Blackfish. Any pointers are always appreciated

Roger - Tog fishing is going to be slow right now too. I am sure you can catch a few, but March will be better when the water temp is up . Best water temps are 45-50 degrees.

Totaug?!? Can I catch those through the ice? Will my Ice auger work on salt water or do I need special blades? Sorry, Don't mean to be a wise ass, it's just the cabin fever is starting to kill me.
