FTC of-fish-ial member logo vote

Okay Scooter, post up the possible choices and let's put this to a vote. Fred/Wet Kisses, sorry I missed your call. I was working last night. I did surf over to their web page, and I really liked what I saw. Let's run this poll, all agree on the style, and then I will contact them to make this a reality. Post 'em up Scooter please. I made 6 options, I think that should cover it. Please vote everyone. Poll will run for 1 week & 1 day.

first of all ...there is no way shamrock will ever loan the trademark "fish the classic" nor will they loan the fish images. however, we could substitute other fish images of your own, like tuna, dolphin, and striper.
they might let us use the old font if its still tm'ed.


as for the poll... i really like the #1 style, but not in the crazy reverse color.

i still want (1) baseball cap and
(1) 5x tee shirt

We do have permission to use the FTC logo with the 3 fish and the name "fish the classic". As a courtesy to the powers that be, Jerry asked that we send him a hard copy of whatever we choose as the final design, so he can pass it around to insure all is ok with everyone involved. My prsonal thoughts are a colored one that includes the fish_the_classic words. Look at what we have done to help them, and most importantly, help ourselves. I think they respect that, and will easily agree to letting us use the TM symbol without a problem. Seems I'm the only one that likes it in color! So far...the only vote cast. Maybe we could change the colors? Hell, I don't want to throw a monkey wrench into this, I want to see this happen soon. VOTE people, vote! Gavin

I cast my vote for number 2. To me, it's clean, and says it all. Also, because it does not have the border, it lends itself to being done in embroidery, not a cheap looking patch. Just my $.02. Good luck :D

They all look great. I voted for #4. Maybe it could have a white background inside the border so it could also be placed on glass.

Permission to use logo?
Grab a Shamrock catalog or log onto imageapp.com and check the Shamrock apparrel logo. This too can be our colors.

Not sure on the spell checker their bz, but it looks like # 2 is the viewers choice. Personally I would have loved to have seen a border around that one, but...I do like it. Majority rules. Unless someone is gonna jump up & down and have a hissy fit about it, I will submit this to Jerry in Cape Coral as a courtesy.

Another Suggestion (Sorry, I'm just full of them today).

Why not go with the top 2 choices, have them made, and give the members the 2 to choose from? They both will sell just fine as follows:

-Take the two choices and get the percentages on them only

Choice 2 = 27 votes
Choice 4 = 20 votes
Total votes = 47

Choice 2 = 57.4% (27 divided by 47)
Choice 4 = 42.6% (20 divided by 47)
Total = 100% of choice #2 and #4 only

-Now, when we get these 2 logos manufactured, order x numbers of #2 which makes up 57% and x numbers of #4 which makes up 43% of total over all production.

-When we sell these logos, the demand should come pretty close to what we had manufactured (the 57% and 43% ratio).

Could we add .net after the fish the classic?
Some folks upon seeing it might visit the site and be converted.

The reason I bought my Shamrock was the board and the fellows I spoke to. Lep and Billy Screamineagle/No Tacks were the ones who clinched the deal foe me. In fact on their recommendation I bought a 26 instead of the 20. A leap of faith for sure but I'm one happy guy with my choice.

I prefer #4 but if you add .net I would go with #2. Regardless, let's pop the clutch on this thing. I would be happy to pay up front. I wouldn't expect anyone to foot the initial order.
