It sounds great but if I'm going to run my 20" cuddy all the way down the intercoastal from the Chesapeake, there had better be one he** of a happy hour going on.

I'm not sure I could get the wife to sleep in that cuddy, not to mention the two kids and the dog.

Hollywood is a good halfway point Matt, but I am not familiar with the establishments down there mabey you could suggest a couple. Hey DPM just head south at the intercostal waterway and get her on plane until you reach warm weather. :wink:

I am on my way. Bought a playstation 2 and an invertor for the kiddies, and a satty dish with a new tv for the wife to watch "trading spaces" all the way down the ICW. Anyone have an idea of how long it takes from Hatteras, NC? Oh yeah....where the hell we meetin' anyway? I will go a VERY LONG WAY for an ice cold Corona w/extra lime and salt. ICRB's....where would man be w/o his ICRB's???

I could meet up with you sometime. I drop the boat in at the 14th street ramp. I always go out Hillsborough inlet. Maybe the Cove or Shooters sometime. Then we'll drag race down the intercoastal. Just kidding about the drag racing, but would like to meet up.

BD, I was hoping to drag my boat over to Lauderdale for Mem weekend. Can you suggest a boater friendly motel near a public ramp?
I was hoping to get some dolphin, are they running strong yet?

Sorry guys, I was out of town on, Capt Don yes the dolphin have been getting better every day!!!! There are a few boat ramps you could use.. in Ft. Lauderdale on 15th street near port everglades, and 14th street in Pompano to get out of Hillsbourogh inlet. I like the sands hotel for strickly convienience they also have a marina. it is near the Pompano boat ramp on the intercoastal and across the street from the beach if you plan to bring the wife and kids. Don't look for the ritz here it is rustic but clean. as far as ft. lauderdale anywhere east of 95 would be your best bet.
