First Fish

Well it officially Striper season for me, I put my first 40" fish into the box last night. Fished a rip just upwater of a shoal bouncing big chartruse bucktails. I only got to make two passes before the tide went slack but picked up one of the fattest strippers I've seen for a spring fish. I'd like to thank you boys down south for feeding them so well over the winter!

You guys up north should have a super summer with them stripers, the spring in the Chesapeake was gangbusters and lasted much later than normal, well into June.
