We motored over to Bayville for an early dinner at a local clam shack this afternoon with the wife, our daughter and her boy friend Joe. He had never caught a fish before and asked if we could try some fishing later on. Since I always bring my worm bucket when ever I go out we were set. We made a few drops of Lloyd Point with no luck so I cruised over to the Eaton's neck triangle. First drift just before dark Joe picked his first Striped Bass, about 36 in. . The guy was thrilled! After about one hour we caught 7 more that were all keepers. Joe caught 4 of them! He so much wanted to know what bass taste like he asked if he could come back to our house to cook it . As I write this thread he is in our kitchen cooking that fish. The guy is on cloud nine. It was a great afternoon and evening on the Mack.

Hey No Tacks, How are you? The Mack is running great other than the chatter from the tranny at very low rpm. I also have a small water intrusion problem that I have yet to locate by the V berth on the port side. I have been adding this and that to her as the season progresses. It is a shame I have to work for a living because I could fiddle with that boat all day every day. I really enjoy it. Hope all is well.
