Fished for 3.5 hours on 10/30 at Sandy Hook in both SH Channel and closer to tip & rips. Drifted eels on fishfinder rigs. One eel slashed by a blue, but other than that no takers. No major bird activity either.
Wind was strong from West and fished some on both outgoing and incoming tide. Saw one fish boated and one caught right on the tip from surf. Other than that, saw little action.
Any suggestions welcome.
