The albacore are still in town. It was so nice that I had my shirt and shoes off by 10:30am. We caught fish 14 miles off Cypress point. What a year. Jumpers in November :D

Are You Threatening Me?? Stop it! Stop it!

The Albies are about 100+ miles out from San Diego right now  , but we do have 1 or 2 YFTs and skippies hanging around. Rock Cod time...

I just got back from a 5 day LR trip to Guadalupe Island. I took my son and it was great. Fish, eat, drink beer, start over :D Got some YTs and YFTs.

I've already booked a trip to Alijos on the Vagabond for May 15. Special price $1350 for 8 days. Join us!

Gosh, I wish I could go! With a new baby girl, however, my wife would fry "mis huevos" if I even hinted such a trip. Thanks for the invite, though.....

Ah-h-h-h ... I remember those days. It's great when your fishin' buddy is your 26 year old son :D

I hear ya! I have sons, too, a 30 year old and a 26 year old. The older one works for the younger one, who owns the business, but the older is my fishing pal. It's great when that happens.

What may be even greater is having a 3 year old grandson who loves being with you and loves being on the boat. Poor kid don't stand a chance, this coming summer and neither do I. I think he's going to love it, though. The younger son has a boy baby on the way, come January. Gotta keep this boat in good shape. Being a grand dad hurts in the joints but the heart makes up for the aches.
