A quick and convenient way to add a fresh water flush kit to your Perko or Groco sea strainers. All brass and bronze, screws onto the strainer in place of the end cap. Looks to be a nice package, too bad I didn't find it earlier.

Groco makes flush units for all their raw water strainers. I have added a Groco flush tee to my strainer when I found the Thoroflush unit wouldn't fit.

Groco's unit is all bronze, and has a quick release attachment that fits on the end of a hose. I ordered a second quick release and installed it on a 3' section of 3/4" hose I keep in the motor well as an emergency pump. It takes me about 10 seconds to install it once I've removed the rear engine access cover.
