The rudder model number for 22' boats is RUR-220-RL. They have the molds so will continue to supply rudders on demand. They also have bronze tiller arms to replace the cast steel arms delivered with the boat. The model number is TA-125-600 for $53.55. Buck is also the supplier for struts and bronze shoes for our boats.
Rudders fitting the 20 and 22' keeled models with four blade props were manufactured by Southeastern Foundries, (336) 299-7211. The model is SES 125-47. The cost of a new rudder is $251.20. South Eastern Foundries owns the mold so will continue to produce rudders as long as they are in business.
Also, Richard Shepard, at Action Manufacturing is a former Shamrock employee with extensive knowledge and access to parts for pre-KCS boats. He has in stock props, shafts, rudders, fuel tanks, etc., and can direct owners to fabric shops that can supply bolsters, seat covers, and most other parts. Many of these shops were original suppliers so have the patterns, etc. He can be reached at (239) 574-3443.
