Yes, you jam them into the top of the rod holder and the rainwater goes either into the cockpit or over the gunwale.

Drain tube is also easy, but not sure if you'll have the clearance at the bottom of the rod holder and the rod holder insert to put the tube bib in place.

Dry bildge in an inboard (or any boat)- yeah that's going to happen. But I applaude your efforts.

MC dry bilges are posible, Mine was when it wasn't raining. This year I'm working on a way to drain the deck without it winding up in the bilge. My gutters always overflow into the bilge. I like your KISS way of plugging the rod holders.

Boy talk about stupid.......what are they?....I thought they were the bottom rubber of crutches and was thinking you jammed them in the bottom of the holders........Now was THAT a dumb idea
